Question GM Special Vehicles - what is really going on?

Will they have any product to sell?

Will they have any dealers to sell and service these vehicles?

I believe this is all fluff at the moment as although the name has been registered, I cannot see how GMSV can succeed converting LHD GM products to RHD when HSV recently struggled to do the same with the Camaro.

I have noticed some "Chevrolet dealers" advertising on Car Sales like example below, Kevin Dennis Chevrolet, possibly old Holden dealers?

Camaro doesn't work when there is competition around like Mustang which is cheaper.

With RAM the price is on point at $79990 DA for the povvo pack entry model as it's not a far stretch from top spec Thailand Specials.

HSV is already doing Silverado, pricing is $120K or there about a and they do RAM 2500 also around similar price points.

The RAM 1500 is the popular one, price/value equation.

As I said in the Holden thread they have dozens of dealers but at the moment they only have the Silverado and Corvette to sell. The Silverados will still be converted by Walkinshaw.

They say they will get more models but they also said that for Holden.

I really hope these dealers were smart enough to be multi brand.

Yeah, I'm talking 3500 long wheelbase duallies, big 5th wheel capable stuff.

Would they sell more here, if model names catered to the Chinese predisposition for two-syllable words?

They have updated their website with dealers etc. I doubt we will see any proper shop fronts for some time or if ever? Walkinshaw is the key and as long as they are doing Rams and other products things will continue.

Yes, they have products and yes, they have dealers (about 50)
