Talking to Michele, more are on the way. I believe the print run is 8000 copies of which 3000 have been delivered and the rest are scheduled to arrive late July/early August in time for Fathers Day

Thanks for the heads up.

Just picked up a copy from Dymocks Indooroopilly, they had a couple more left.
QBD also had a single copy available too. Both were $60.

There is a Holden book out called 60 years of Holden by Dr Terry on here, I was hoping that Ford Australia would be in much the same way as Dr Terry did his book as a complete encyclopedia of all models.

I have not read all of the Ford Australia yet, but it's bit all over the place going from one year and forward and then back.

Yep, just picked up a copy there today. Even has a pic of my old EF XR6 on pages 260 - 261 I purchased new in 1995, even though it is captioned an EL.

Today I saw about 10 of these books in Big W for $40. This is $20 lower than the one that I purchased on the net.

Purchased a second book to give as Chrissy present to a lucky ford fan!!

Mackay, QLD. I would think that all Big Ws will get them in time. Before ordering my first one I checked all the local book stores but could not find any so then had to buy from out of town and not support the local jobs. Oh well my second purchase supported local business.

Got mine from Big W Broadmeadows. Lady there didn't know if existed till she had a look out back and found two copies. One left now.
Also noticed this book, and for $12, thought it would worth a look.
It ticks all the boxes. All pre-1977, but that's the time when I was driving these beasts.

Glad you guys are finally finding them at Big W. $40 is a great price. I have ended up buying 4 copies, 1 for me and the others for people who have helped me out over the years and of course love Fords.

Big W seems to have good stocks - found there were plenty there yesterday, and were largely placed near the front door as you walk in, presumably as a Fathers' Day promo.

My wife got the last one from a local QBD store yesterday.... $60, so now every-one can say we got ripped off, but our BigW had none, nor knew about the book.

Only skimmed through through the book so far, but page 80 was of particular interest.
Around the same time Mum, Dad, Dad’s brother and a very young me, starting from Sydney, drove the Nullabor in a Mk1 Zephyr, during December, to look at some farming land in WA.
The only modifications Dad made were a set of ‘Wintertread” tyres on the back, a sump guard which copped a hammering, and twin overhead waterbags at the front. No back-up team following us ‘in case’
My memories are mile after mile of straight, bulldusty, corregated, stony roads stretching into the heat haze. After spending a day at the destination, we came back again, not impressed with what we saw.
The Zephyr performed faultlessly, but the diff was never quite the same after contending with 4WD tyres. Dad eventually sold the Zephyr privately about 1980, and it was still in very good condition.

After failing to get a copy at a number of Big W stores around Melbourne metro, I managed to pick up a copy today at Dymocks Bookstore at Westfield Knox City Shopping Centre. They still had a few copies left on the shelf if anyone in Melbourne is interested..... Man is this a heavy and large book!
Have not opened it from the plastic wrapping yet, as my daughter wanted to know what I wanted for father's day.... Can't wait till she hands it to me along with breakfast in bed this Sunday
