There is also a massive Car, Motorcycle and Air show on the same day called Soar Ride and Shine at the Bathurst Airport as well that day peeps might want to drive up for. Big weekend for car bike and aero enthusiasts.

Gary for me it will and others seemed keen at the meeting, The Shannons event sounds like its just becoming too hard, I couldn't make it to the meeting yesterday as I took a trip to Vic to recover my wagon.

Cool.

I'll double check with the leader of the opposition and get back to you.

P.S. hope the recovery went well.

Hi Ray.

I'm in.
Given that its about 3 & 1/2 hours to get there, what time do you want to leave?
And where do you want to meet?

Gaz

The 'pits' will be at Mcphillamy Park (top of the mountain), this is also the best place to get to the spectator areas. Take Boundary Rd up there as the track will of course be closed.

For those leaving Canberra, the Lachlan Valley Hwy has about a km of (rather good) dirt road just after you turn off of the Hume Hwy. The rest of the trip is easy.
