Hi all.
I'm trying to get my hands on some pre made trolley jack rubber pads with and without a slot. Or somewhere that sells thick rubber slabs so I can make my own. Clark rubber only sell 6mm strips which is way too thin. Any ideas? Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk |

Forgot to mention that I'm after ones that are 100-105mm diameter.
I've seen some on ebay that are only 50-65mm which is a tad small Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk |

I've used old anchor bow roller rubbers as jack blocks before.
Boat or even truck docking rubber suppliers ?

Ice/Street/Roller hockey pucks are often used their standard size is 1 inch (25 mm) thick and 3 inches (76 mm) in diameter. Ice hockey requires the harder disks and these are usually made of vulcanized rubber. I have a variety of ebay purpose made jack pad and find many are too soft and cut then split where the weld seam rests on them (but the NC V8 Fairlane was no light weight). I now use ones that are aluminium with a magnetic piece and and nylon rest; these: https://www.amazon.com/PXPART-Univer.../dp/B07J9W3JRJ The magnets are great as you put them on the car seam weld first and there is no chance of getting the seam weld misaligned with pad/jack.

I've actually been using wood offcuts to jack the car up from the chassis rails at the front, and diff at the back for years. So far so good!

I have a Blue Point trolley jack which has a 140mm rubber pad. They are sold by Snap-on. You know, the tool guy in a truck that visits all the workshops.
I bought a replacement pad for my jack so they would be worth a try

Can't remember as it was years ago. The jack was purchased 10-15 yrs ago and cost around $700 I think so what the replacement rubber pad cost didn't matter. Its a very low and long jack that fits under T Series cars no problem and has about 600mm lift

I ended up buying a 100x100x50mm rubber block off ebay for $20 shipped. Will be cutting a slot in it for the sill.
