i dont get it....the damage isnt even that bad so whys it a stat?
then again ive seen cars there that should be stats (bent/ buckled roofs, pole hits in the side and so forth) but they are repairables.

its fuxed i agree mate, other day saw eb fairmont looked like a coupe... or missing half a side but nooooo u can repair that, and they fetch top dollar lol

one thing I have noticed about Fowles is the 'creative' angles they use in there pictures... What you see in the photo isn't too bad, but the passenger side of the car is probably 10 times worse..

I frequent Fowles in Brisbane and have been caught a few times, that is why it is worth your time to go to the inspection day

I don't see what's so good about the EF really. Just common to what they usually have there. I expected it to have a full body kit or some 17's or something on it.

As for the AU. Damn that's gotta be one sore ***.

I'd say of all the cars at Fowles and Pickles, etc, maybe 30% of post 1990 cars go to wreckers or people like us. The rest will have the compliance plates taken off and riveted to a stolen car and the engine swapped over.

You can't re-register a stat write off so no one wants them, besides wreckers.

ye... only for 5speed.

it had chassis damage and was alittle f@rked at front, this has been the only 5speed e-series since 4auctions.... there rare as... ea wagon 5speed was last one that went for 1100 lol all wreckers were after it

the new rules with vic roads makes it hartd to do the rivit - re rego job these days
i went through so much crap and inspections with vic roads to get my repairable writeoff back on the road.

they definatly know its happening
