Valla GT weekend away

Hi all, its on again. This year is proving to be the best yet, we have booked camp sites at Valla Beach Caravan Park. There are a few members that have joined up with various GT clubs, so there will be quite a few Mid North Coast Ford Owners Club vehicles on show. The club has booked 10 camp sites, and as everybody knows, the marquee will take up 2 sites. Site fees are $23 per night for 2 people, and any extra people on that site will cost $7.00 per person per night extra. All those that are going this year, we need a $40.00 deposit to secure your camp site. At the moment there are 8 sites available, first in first served. All cabins at Valla Beach Caravan Park are booked, so only camp sites left. This year we join in on all the action at the park and enjoy other clubs company during the whole weekend. As a club, after the show on Saturday, we will have a small cruise to somewhere different this year, but will be announced in up comming newsletters. can i ask, what happens at Valla....mate and I are thinking about heading down. saw the pics and vids from last yr, looks like an awesome weekend and great collection of GT's .

do you need to be a member of a GT club at all or just rock up and enjoy the w/end ?

sorry for the questions in this post, but its the 1st one ive seen about Valla for this yr ..

It is a combined GT clubs display. You do have to be a member of a GT club to display your vehicle. But if not, park the car out the back and enjoy the show.

Its a great weekend or long weekend for some. You get to see a collection of NSW and QLD GT Falcons. Picture a caravan/ cabin park full of GT's and owners all enjoying each others cars and company.On Saturday morning the cars line up in model order at the caravan park and under police escort drive into the town. The locals line the streets as the cars make there way into town. The main street is closed for thru traffic while the cars are parked there for a few hours on show. After this most head back to the park where a swap meet is held in the afternoon. Plenty of drinks and laughs, GT Falcons circle the park regularly, some more then others!
Saturday night there is a dinner and presentation, a few more drinks until the early hours. Sunday is a relaxing day with a run to the local go Kart track or a pub for lunch. The track is open to the cars to do a few laps in anger.
All in all a great weekend and a must do for any GT owner or fan.

Those that are comming....PLEASE ring myself or Steve Jubb to arrange your $40 deposit, as the club has paid the deposit for the sites. And doing this the club has an accurate number of people attending. Thanks

UPDATE....there are only 3 sites left !!!!! Get your $40 into Steve ASAP to get your site. NOTE*** All those that have mentioned in this thread that you are going have been included for a camp site. But those who have not yet paid there $40 deposit, please do so to 100% guarantee your site, as once camp sites run out, those who have not yet paid a deposit will miss out.

The main group will be meeting at the AUTOBARN car park at 9:00AM on the 30th (Friday) and departing no latter than 9:30AM, we will then head up the highway and stop at the Clybucca BP service station at approximately 10:30 AM to pick up more members. We will arrive Valla Beach Caravan Park at around 11:30 AM and then set up camp. Other members that can not make this time will have to make their own way up by themselves and meet up with the group at Valla Beach.

Hey guys i live in Nambucca Heads and it is still a long way off from closing the highway. I work in Macksville and they recon it wont be anywhere near as bad as it was in March. Just hope it wont rain on the weekend!

We have 3 groups heading up Friday, the morning, lunch, and after work groups. No plan changes yet.
