Nice one!

Congrats Luke!

I'm sure Danny will want to see that one! I'm up for a viewing when and if I head to Melbourne.

Sounds good mate, congrats again, and I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

Lucky bastard with that delivery time! Most people have to wait....

Cheers,

Steven

Luke....

Why on earth would you want to visit Adelaide?

You know Sydney is much more entertaining....

We have more Hot Hatches up here too - you'd fit right in!

It seems Luke and I have already crossed paths anyways tonight. I was on my way out when a Smartarse in an Eleccy orange XR5 flips the bird at me, does a U banger and flies up next to me....... We stopped at a fuel station, and I revved it. Happy days.

Hahah @ Not showing me just to annoy me, you can't help yourself, I got your SMS as well before!

haha, good work champ, just trying to add some humor..

Was good to see you again bud.. your little fez is not very easy to miss.. i knew exactly who is was when i saw it...

The XR5 goes like a bat outta hell.. a turbs timer would be nice, also remote start... mmm sounding good!!

Cruised like a ****er down chapel st this morning.. man almost every person in everycar was looking at the XR5.. oh mah gawd man its an XR5 turbo man oh mah gawd.. haha i love the attention!! why else would i have gotten it in Electric Orange!!

The thing just loves to eat the road!! ive pushed it fairly hard(upto 4000rpm) and its now on 250kms, i cant wait to push it to 6500 mmmm
The power is insane at 4000 i can only imagine dragging that pursuit(ute) would be like if i used it right out to 6000...

Luke

Yes, Jeremy Clarkson reviewed that the ST/XR5T sounds similar to WRX. Nice deep engine note isnt it?

Yep very nice and deep. Maybe one day il get a recording of it and post a sound file. i said one day so dont count on it

Ive driven a WRX (stock) before and the XR5 seems to have similar power but drives a hell of alot nicer on the straight!! the WRX comes up better round cornering due to AWD, and the XR5 gets some understeer, which is alittle annoying, Ive tested it on corners that i used to push the fez through, and i cant push the XR5 much quicker through them at all.. maybe i need some time to get more of a feel for the car!!

Luke

firstly congratulations on the new car.

Also remember... your ST only has 250kms on it. The suspension needs some time to bed in.

I would say it will handle better than the fiesta, given 1-2 thousand kms

And your running it in the perfect way. Rev to about 4 grand, lots of load, but not flogging it. good job
