Default Wagga Wagga All Ford Day '07

I was just wondering about the display for Wagga Wagga. I have an idea about presenting our cars.

One of my hobbies is automotive design. In plain terms, I'm pretty good with pens and markers. Here is an example of what I can do

So I have a suggestion: I can draw a picture of each car on the display, A3 size, with large front 3/4 view and one or two smaller ones(rear view, wheel detail or whatever stands out on your car).

Than we can have another panel with all the specs and mods of each car, put them together with the drawing and laminate them, and then place them on a board in front of each car. I reckon this would be an original way of presentation.

As far as drawings are concerned, I can draw your car to exact detail.

So guys, let me know what you think!

Cheers,
Bud

Ok guys, this is the deal. Since drawing is only my hobby(I'm usually doing drawings for my friends etc), I'm not gonna charge you for my time( it takes a few hours to complete a rendering). So, you'll be paying just for the drawing materials( pens, markers, paper etc).

I've got a few days off work next week, so I'll go down to the bookshop and find out how much stuff do I need, but I reckon it shouldn't be more than $15-$20 per head.

Because of the time limit( Wagga is only a month away), I'll first do the cars that are gonna be on display at Wagga AFD, and then the other ones later.

So guys, if everyone is happy to go ahead with this,I would need a list of all cars that will be attending Wagga, with a few pictures of your car( front 3/4 view, rear 3/4 view and side view).

As far as the info sheet, I've made a template that we can use:

Username or numberplate -

Car year and model -

Colour -

Engine mods -

Exhaust -

Gearbox -

Differentia -

Brakes -

Suspension -

Wheels -

Interior -

Other mods -

Stereo -

The Info sheet would have to be printed on A3 size paper, to match the drawing, with ORSM logo as a header, for example. Tristan, maybe you can help with some ideas for this one.

This would be exclusive for ORSM Club members.

Thats it guys, let me know what you think, so I can start sharping those pencils, hehe.

Here is a few renderings from 4years ago of how I imagined the retro inspired GTHO

Cheers,
Bud

Just a stupid question, do I have to send my entry myself, or the club event coordinator will send all entries?

Hi Bud, Elyse was organising some accom for us, her uncle (i think) has a small b&b but i think it's now full but there was talk of him helping to get some more accom just down the road (about 200m) if more people required some.
your best bet would be to either pm Theo (ORSMF6) or see Elyse at the next meeting
