So, who has a Bullitt against their name?

If I want one I’ve got one.

Just waiting on final pricing.

When I was at the Ford delaership picking up my new Mustang, one of the staff there I got chatting to, had oredered a Bullitt, which he said was costing him close to $85K optioned up.
He was not expecting delivery till late 2019 though.

My dealer usually let's his existing customer base have first dibs on special editions, same as when he used to sell FPV's.

I have one against my name and the price is most likely going to be below what I was expecting. Even though it's manual only I'll probably proceed, I have a bad left knee which is my only concern.

I wouldn't go for the Recaros so most likely in the $80K to $82K range.

His expression of interest list far outnumbers his allocation!

I’ve been very fortunate to be allocated one. I was number 7 on the list of orders with deposits back in March. Had no expectation of getting one thinking the dealer would only get 3 or 4. Dealer was allocated 10 so I scored well and am very happy

Well done!

My sales guy normally doesn’t divulge where we are on the list, I’ve tried to prise it out of him before with other cars! (With little success.)

He’s let me know I’ve been allocated one so I’m pretty happy. Something special for sure!

Nah Recaros are the only optional item for the Aus Bullitt.

Oh and as an accessory the dealer can order a custom Bullitt car cover..

I would assume it will be a Bullitt branded version of the one Ford sells as an accessory.

https://www.ford.com.au/performance/...-gt-fastback/#

They are made by CoverCraft. I have a red one (hey I like red things....) and they are well worth the money.

Yeah same cover as that, can choose black cover with grey Bullitt logo or grey cover with black Bullitt logo

We have a choice of Nov 18 or May 19 Delivery. I’ve gone with May and also going for standard seats. Salesman has ordered the cover for all of his allocation.

I would have taken the Nov delivery.

Cars built in the US winter months means some vehicles will be transported in the snow or even possibly sitting in the snow at the ports. Not ideal collector car conditions.

^^^^ Good point, I hadn't thought of that.

My first Mustang was a late November 2015 build and all was OK. It did have some paint defects though and the boot was badly scuffed - maybe from removing snow?!? I remember some of the guys on the Mustang6G Forum were tracking their cars to Australia and they knew some cars were buried in snow.

May suits me better though

Mercury Bullet Can you tell me which dealer you are talking about? a Mate has decided to buy one as well and is looking for a Dealer with an allocation.

I had no choice for delivery got told earliest was April next year and maybe later.

Anyone have a link to specs page for the Bullitt with like diff ratios, brake rotor sizes and so on.

The Aussie car covers will not be the same as that, will be like the FGX sprint or GT-F ones made by covercraft

Yep 7th out of an allocation of 10 here. My ETA is Feb ‘19 but that’s pretty loose so could be earlier but probably later..

I got a NSC number but a VIN hasn't been issued yet. Ford said try again in month or so.
We should get an Aussie Bullitt face book page going for Owners.

Yeah I have an order number but that’s it. Not sure if we can use COTUS to track our orders or if it is US only?

Local Bullitt group does sound like a good idea...
