I see FoA has removed the option of selecting the ST-X to compare over the ST, wonder if they have dropped the ST-X due to on going supply issues with certain parts.

I believe Focus is dead. There is zero production this year for Australia. I think it’s probable that we have seen the last of Focus.
I hope I’m wrong.

Soooo, just heard a rumor that ford will be cancelling all ST and STX orders. Ford will be contacting customers shortly. No more Australian focus. Awaiting an official call i guess....

Well confirmed. Ford AU just called, cancelling my order, deposit refunded + a $400 mastercard and a 'performance gift pack'

Well that’s just ****, I’ve wasted 4 months waiting for a new car that now isn’t coming and will have to start the process all over again. My lease ends in December and we need two cars so I’ll probably find myself buying something I don’t want just for the sake of needing 2 cars. I’m sorry but $400 is **** poor

Just received my call - in my situation, I'm happy with the offer from Ford.

Most likely will be looking at an Escape Vignale now.

Well that's the decision made for me for my next purchase then. WTF are Ford Australia thinking? Or is it Big Brother (Ford U.S.) making the decision for them.

So there might be some hope for me 🤞🏻🤞🏻
From the ford website

Focus ST. Updated: August 2022.
There are a small number of 2022MY Focus STs and ST-Xs being built, which will continue to arrive progressively until September. Most of these final deliveries are contracted vehicles, but we do have a small number of Focus ST vehicles available before Focus ST and Focus ST-X depart Ford's line-up in Australia. Please contact your Ford Dealer who may be able to help you with a new order.

We test drove a facelifted Focus ST in WA 3 weeks ago (fresh of the boat) before we settled on Escape Vignale for the wife.

Some regular STs definitely made it here and are probably still sitting at dealers. Was a little cracker but wife was not too keen on low ride height.

I believe it’s the matrix/pixel headlights fitted on the ST-X that is the hold up same as on the new wildtrak’s V6 when you option the premium pack pushes the wait time to over 6 months

We enquired about the ST-X and the dealer told me that they were not making them for the AU market yet and may not be until early next year due to parts shortages. This was before the recent Ford announcement about dropping them.

If anyone wants a facelift ST, call around as there a few kicking about. The ST was still well appointed and the Sync 4 scree was impressive.

Ranger wait times are improving, I picked up my Wildtrak with Premium Pack last week but I did put my name down last year. Anyone walking in now is looking at 6-12 months.

Sooo was anyone lucky enough to secure a ST-X ?
I did a ring around and dealer in Rockingham has a ST in mean green if anyone is interested.but I think they are taking the **** they want 65k, sorry but in my opinion a ST is not worth $65k ST-X maybe just ,but no doubt it’ll probably still sell
