FG XR6 Brakes

Hey mate,

I've got a 2011 FG XR6 N/A Limited Edition sedan
It still has the standard disks on it.

I was just wondering if I could get some prices and part numbers/descriptions for some options

The 2 options I'm looking at are

1. Disk upgrade - street car but a performance brake of some sort (I think the DBA 4000 series slotted or something like that are common on these)

2. Brake kit upgrade - a fairly basic one, not a full on brembo kit (I think something like the PBR is one of the bottom end ones??)

The car is driven between Campbelltown and Wollongong everyday so it does get a flogging on Ousley because of idiots in front of me (not sure if this makes a difference)

John we can help there.
DBA 4000 T3 rotors are $150 each and Ferodo DS Performance brake pads are $165 a set thanks.
A Brembo front upgrade is from $2150 and a twin piston 325mm front upgrade is $1250 but limited stock

Just to get an idea, what would be the next step down from the DBA 4000 T3
And also, the next step down for the Ferodo DS Performance pads

And those twin piston upgrades, their about the base upgrade pack?

And assuming none of that includes installation, what would I be looking at for front and rear, pads and disks install?

We could supply the DBA T2 slotted rotors at $100 each to you. These are the non turbo model.
We can also supply std pads from $65 to $85 a set and fitting for all 4 rotors and pads is $240 thanks.

Sorry for all the questions but hopefully the last one.

I was having a read through some threads and it seems the DBA 4000 is a different pad to the DBA 4000 T3 (slotted as opposed to X slottedI think)
What would the price on these be?

The DBA 4000 was more the old style and the T3 is the new style of slotted disc. The DBA4000XS is the xdrilled version.
The DBA T3 slotted range are $150 each thanks
