Default '07 Zetec spoiler swap

Gents.

I've got an '07 Zetec, and the other day I bought an '06 XR5 Turbo spoiler from a write off as I finally found one in red.

Upon fitment of the new spoiler this afternoon, I found the brake light connectors are unfortunately different! So, I'm running without a spoiler light for now.

Is there an adapter for such a thing? Or would it be best for me to contact the seller of the spoiler and see if they can chop off the plug from the XR5T and send that to me so I can attach it to my Zetec wiring?

I doubt an adapter exists. I think you've already got the best solution in your post above

All good, I made contact with the seller and they're gonna post out the connector from the XR5 Turbo and I'll just solder it onto the Zetec wiring.
