Looks great Ron, much better than before. Have you thought of painting the mirror covers black, I reckon it would suit the black pillars. Also maybe aftermarket black taillights to match angel eyes and black powder coated wheels? And than the bulge ...

Awesome car Ron, I'm a big fan of the XR5 and yours is coming along nicely.

I will be hovering around this a far bit on the weekend.

still trying to decide wether to do something with the mirrors & bonnet, have looked at some lights but more so for the rear fog/reverse lights, can get either tinted or altezza style main rear lights but not sure if they will look ok.

as for black wheels, NEVER, i reckon they look :::

I like them both, would look good on your car with other blackouts. While you at it order some smoked side repeaters too. Than quad tips?

Hey mate lookin good Ron....

l think some new dump pipes would look a treat Ron but not in chrome just black ones as it will blend in and look tough.....And then paint the fuel tank as well or is it the spare wheel holder you can see from the back

Cheers Chris

i started on making an airbox today, it's going to be an interesting project as there is limited room with the radiator support bracket & lower hose to dodge in the process.

it's going in the space to the left & below the chassis rail

nothing yet mate, i have the idea in my head just haven't had a lot of time to put it into something solid, there's not alot of room to work with & what there is is not easy to work around.

i'm also waiting to find out the rules for the winton sprints next year, i may not be able to do many mods & be stuffed if i want to be changing things all the time
