Hi everyone,
Performance Car Mania is an event I put together at Winton Raceway. This year will be its second year and is looking to be a great event. I am in the process of putting the finishing touches to the event at the moment. Entries are open and they are cheaper for early bird entries. The event is a street machine style event with Drift, Drags, Burnouts, Cruizin, go-to-whoa, dyno and sound comps, show and shine and club displays. Last year there was 130 cars and everyone got that much track time they had enough by the end of it. There is no prize money becuase we are aiming at the grass roots stuff, not many people actually get a shot at winning the money anyway, and it is all aimed at having a bit of fun, and last year certainly was that. The event is on September 21-23, 2007 with scruitneering on the friday afternoon before some grudge match drag racing under lights on Friday night, which is all just a bit of fun and the event officially kicks off on Saturday. It should be awesome fun this year. As the organiser I even had fun running the event last year!! llol |
