i am in the process of doing up a sedan. i have sanded it back and primered it. unfortunately the primer was no good, so needs to be sanded back and redone. i also have an estate that will get looked at one day. i hope to have the sedan on show in October, so the paint must at least be finished by then. great fun though and a nice simple car to start as my first project where i do everything myself (except electrics and brakes).

i have a 1600 escort motor lined up. i got hold of a mk2 tina sump, so shouldnt be a problem installing it. i had a 1500, but there is no compressions, so for now, the 1600 will do. i will learn to rebuild the 1500 and then have a go at that. a great car as a first complete project as it is very simple. i am thinking of getting some Milton goodies for it, but am trying to build this one on a budget.
