Ok , apart from the god awful boot spoiler that ford fitted to the AU FAIRLANE , what has been fitted to them over the years , tried googling it but not much comes up . thought about TS50 style but wont fit the profile , has anyone used a bob tail or dare i say it a crappadore or japanese . So if anyone has a picture or two please share and what you have used if you have done it yourself , thanks everyone , J

I've seen one with the AUII bi-plane in body colour that actually looked ok but most of the other efforts I've seen have been just odd.

I've never seen a good boot spoiler on an AU Fairlane.

I used to eye a lip spoiler on an ED dumped in someone's front yard years ago, thought it might look good on a Fairlane, if it measured up right. The flat shape might mesh well.

sorry been a while been surfing the web for something that i think will suit and the only things i can come up with was the bobtail from a late model statesman or the mitsi lancer bobtail ,or the late model camry bobtail. Not sure how that would go but if anyone has photo shop and are bored one day could they check it out for the look , only other option was one of those neoprene boot lips off evil bay but not convinced on that either . Seems i'm being a black sheep again and doing something thats off the wall , oh well , cheers guys

Perhaps the best fit might be a WK or WL Statesman, since it may be wide enough and flat enough to match the AU boot.
Don't know if anyone else has ever noticed this, but the boot lid and rear quarter panels of the AU LWB have an extremely subtle fin-like bend over the top which I always thought was a cool throwback to the classic ZA to ZH models.

When you mentioned it I did have a look and indeed I do think I know what you mean, there's just a slight rise at the sides of the boot lid relative to the middle. You basically have to look to see it though.
