Good to know. Though when I've stomped on the stock brakes it pulls up pretty quick too. Interested for more track work as the stock rotors or pads over heated for me and so I've wondered about a brake upgrade.

Did they fit behind the stock rims or did you have to get some offsets? Iam keen at getting them too, is it the exact same parts as US?

They do indeed. Looking at the various options, the Wilwoods seemed to be the only upgrade that didn't require the use of spacers. There's the tiniest gap, but I do rather like the fact that I can keep the factory track width.

The stock brakes are good, but based on comparisons (take Motor's BFYB for example) the FiST has the longest stopping distance of all the hot hatches. I've not compared stops against others with standard brakes, but I'm guessing mine would stop a bit quicker...

Best thing about it: Compact size, easy to park in my carport
Things puzzling me: Noise from wheels(I was told the rear tyres worn out), double lock not working
Mod done: added dash mat and full size spare wheel(if this can be counted as MOD )
Mod to be arranged: adding central armrest, rear passenger dome light and DVR/reversing camera.

ay what's up people. just got myself a fiesta ST ecoboost WZ series. incredible car! mods so far are aesthetic, with front lower splitter, and a few other odds and ends (tinted windows, front quarter panel ST sticker, mighty car mods stickers (mandatory ;) ) and some vortex generators on the rear wing (a quick google search seems to show a study showing some good gains from using these on hatch backs....but no lie, i did it just for the looks) i also placed yelllow covers on the front fog lights. I've also claye bared the duco, and also applied nanolex "ceramic" coat to the paintwork.

i'm also going to be installing a cobb lower rear engine mount to replace the stock mount. thinking of going with a cobb exhaust and a Peron hybrid turbo with a dyno tune as well but at the moment enjoying the car as is. far out! it is such a fun car!!!! feel so great around the corners ;). My tires from the factory seem to have been inflated to about 45 psi, the car handles nice with this pressure, but i've never inflated tires to such a high psi so if anyone has any experience with optimum psi for the tyres please message me. ATM i've got the psi at 44 witht he tyres fully warmed up, so maybe 43 or 42 psi at cold inflation.

would someone know if there's a fiesta ST or small ford car performance club in NSW?

Welcome there is a Facebook book and forum group for the Ford Hot Hatches we meet a fair bit, not an official club. We do a range of things from cruises to track days, look up NSW XR5/ST/RS/XR4 cruise group. What area are you from?

Afternoon All

I just picked up a 2015 Fiesta Ecoboost 1.0.

I tried to get our Ford Pro Dealer here to fit the MR165 kit from Mountune, but they said that the ECU on the Fiesta's over here are different to the European cars as ours are built in Thailand. Apparently they purchased a couple of these kits, fitted them, but they wouldn't work, so they got returned to Mountune. The kits are $2,500 and take the car from 120hp to 165hp, which would make them a surprising little car to have a crack at, at the odd traffic light.

Just had a chat with our local boys who have a Dyno and tune Falcons all day. They sounded really excited about having a crack at one of these cars.
So I might have a chat about what they can achieve without toasting the 5 year warranty.

The other weird thing they do over here is fit a front and rear bumper from 3dCarbon, but they don't fit the side skirts. I sent an email off to 3dCarbon to see if I could just purchase the side skirts (as they only have the whole kit on their website) and got a pretty blunt "Nah" response.

I haven't had a proper dig around on the forum yet, but if anyone can point me to a thread about getting a couple more hp out of the 1.0 it would be much appreciated.

Nice one! I'm astounded that the ECU is different; it's essentially the same car, after all. It's not like it's US vs EU ST models, which are different in many ways...

If there is a way to upgrade, though, I'd highly recommend it, as - as much as I despise Mountune now because of their service, which is non-existent - their products are brilliant.

There has to be a way to make it work, whether it's via that channel or another option. I'd love a steer of a 1.0L jobbie because everything I've read about them is massively positive...

Picked up the car, hated the alloys, and I imagine they're an utter $&@# to keep clean, so I replaced them with some 5 spoke black alloys. I'd been looking for 4x108 stud pattern wheels, but it turned out the Fiesta S here in NZ has a 4x100 stud pattern, which opened up more options.

New Comer here.let's say about 2mths ago I go to ford dealer to inquire about ford ranger and end up ordering a fiesta thanks to my wife as she said we need a small car to teach our daughter to drive in
I shouldn't complain as its a good little car bought the ecoboost sport 5 spd manual if only the st had 5 doors would have got that instead.
It now has 2100klms on the speedo but wasn't happy that at 1500 klms had brake oil light come on and ford found that an o ring was faulty but other than that very happy with it love the color which is winning blue

Car: '09 WS Zetec, 3 door, in Vision (Blue)
I came across the Fiesta when helping a friend look for a new car. I fell in love with them and when it came time to replace my previous ride, there was no other option
Would have loved to start out with a WZ ST... but maybe can work up to that. For now, I very much love the WS Zetec.

Joined up to read more about what other people do with their Fiestas, and also to see what others' experiences with tyres are...

The previous owner of my Zetec put Federal Super Steel 595's on and they are *awful*. Feels fine to drive with but the ride is super harsh, but the worst thing is the road noise! People riding in the car with me wonder if the wheel bearings are out, it's that bad...

Tossing up between the Hankook K107s, Pirelli PZero Nero, or Michelin Pilot Sport 3 (because apparently Tyresales have only a handful of those left in 195/45/16...)

Hey All,

Been around a while, hardly ever posted. *Decided to pop on for a browse around after discovering a coolant leak, and possibly an oil leak in my 20mth old 2015 Fiesta*1.0L w/ Powershift!

Car: White 2015 WZ Fiesta Sport w/ PowerShift
Only previous car was a much-loved 1992 EBii 6cyl (Everglade Green)

2004 Festiva (Mum's)
Best thing about them: Reliable, quick enough, not stupidly expensive to repair, look good, fun to drive.
History: I learnt to drive in an XB which was followed by a succession of end of life Falcons. After that I went to various Japanese brands but in 2010 came back to Ford for the G6E. The Mondeo came about as we needed a good sized Wagon that did not cost the earth. The Festiva replaced my mothers 323 after it was written off, very nice little car and even with over 100000km's on it its still going really well.
