KRC 2010 Show

The Rotary Club of Keilor is again holding its Annual Car Show on Sunday
the 2nd May 2010, in the grounds of the historic Keilor Hotel, Melways Map14 ref J6. The Car show will be held in conjunction with their popular
monthly craft and produce market providing lots fun and of entertainment
for the whole family.

All profits from the Car Show will go towards Rotary Health Projects.

The show has been getting bigger and better each and they extend a warm
invitation to all of our Club members to exhibit their cars or attend
this fantastic event. A unique feature of the car show is the "People's Choice" voted by the spectators
and "Entrant Choice" awards voted by the exhibitors. These share in a
cash prize of $300 plus trophies. They also have lots of other
trophies and prizes for numerous other categories including Best Club
Display, Best Ford, Best Holden, Best Street Car & Contestant Choice.

We will be meeting at the KFC/ Hungry Jacks car park at the Keilor downs shopping plaza, Taylors rd, melways ref, map 14, 9c. meet at 7am for a 7:15 leave time, gates open at 7:30am

I was always intending to get the front repainted to remove the stone chips but I was waiting until I got the rest of the body kit first. (Which I can't install while I live at home with a steep driveway). But when I washed the car after I come back from Canberra a section of paint about 1 inch square peeled off and looks pretty ugly. As such I'm gonna have to bump up those plans so that I can get the car back into show condition.

I wont be able to make it this time either. I have an exam on the Monday and Sunday is the only study day I have. Good luck and take some pics.

Sorry guys im pulling out.Some dick has put a nice ding in the drivers side door and i have some scratches on the front bar. So after chain tensioners and oil pump i will get some work done on the body. Cheers have fun

it was a good day with some very nice old school cars on show, the club won best club display & got a rare spares voucher & a mini keg oh heineken. these will be raffeled off at a later date.
i will post up the pics i took later.
