Default F.T.F vs Club Commodore at WSID

Hey all,

as mentioned at the AGM last Friday, i have managed to book a lane at WSID for a Race For Real Wedensday night Drags.

I have also issued the Challenge to Leanne, Aaron and the crew at Club Commodore to put their money where their mouths are and come racing.

All cars are welcome 4/6/8.

Entry for competitors is $50 per car, and you need to have a Current Aus Standards 1698 Helmet, (i.e not older than 12 yrs old) neck to toe clothing (jeans and jacket) drivers license or ANDRA license and log book.
you are allowed up to two pit crew at $20.

we are limited to 20 cars so get in quick (10 ftf, 10 club c/dore)
Spectators are $20

When: Wedensday 11th March 2009 (weather permitting)

Where: Western Sydney International Dragway, competitors gate, Ferrers Rd Eastern Creek.

meet time: competitor gates open at 5pm, spectators at 6pm.

If we can get a good turn out i can make this a regular thing.

Attendance:

1. Dan B (racing XR8)

Pfffft @ whoever edited my post.

I'm sure Aaron would like to be king, but since he's married he'll never know that honour.... lol.
There are a few people who would love to go. I'm not one of them, unless there's a prize for the slowest car. See, I'm not afraid to admit it! Actually it's not the car that's slow, it's the nut that holds the steering wheel. (me)

Why, do you need more time to buy a bigger box of tissues?

I just had to say it, couldn't help myself.

i think its only fair to the commodore club ill run my full street tyres and disconnect a coil pack so it runs on 5 cylinders should make it fair lol it will be good to run some holdens instead of all the rice burners the turbos usually have to run against

Sorry Rapid XR8, I got it after I posted.
Actually my car could be very quick, but because it's a totally different (not quite sure of the word) gearbox (?) to anything I've ever driven, I just can't get off the mark quickly. Probably a good thing though.

Just a reminder for those heading down this Wednesday, dont forget to inform the official during inspection that you are racing in the booked lane.

Tonight's Meeting Cancelled

The weather has hit WSID once again!
Constant drizzle has forced the venue to regretably cancel tonight's event.
Fingers crossed the sun will be shining down on wsid next week for yet another chance where you can "RACE FOR REAL."

suxs but yeah.
