Exclamation ZB Recall Notice.

"Fears that safety belts could fail in the brand new Holden ZB Commodore has led to the issuing of an urgent recall.
The Motor Industry Association says it has identified a condition where the rear left and right seatbelts may not have been installed correctly.
This may have happened when the vehicle was manufactured.
If the vehicle is in a collision the seatbelts may not operate as designed, and could lead to serious injury.
The MIA says the rear centre seat belt is not affected.
It's urging people to contact their local Holden dealers to deal with the issue."

So this will only affect, what, 10, maybe 15 people who have purchased one....

It's not the only thing failing with the ZB

While they're re doing the seat belts they might want to fit an engine too especially in the VRX.. 6.7- 6.7 seconds to 100 kmh is about the same time as my 10 year old standard XR6.

I bet the VF real Commodore owners are cringing with the current offerings achievements or lack there of more the truth .

There once was a crowd called Holden

With great cars of Aussie constuctin' and mouldin'

Then they were no longer built

And the old name was used with guilt

Looks sadly like the whole mob are now foldin'......

(currently in comparison by the looks of it )

The dear old Falcon and Territory has now gone west

Regularly rated up there with the best

All doom and gloom at the time

Many considered it a travesty and crime

Still there's a few good un's with Blue Oval crest .

Apologies for my terrible limericks but the Ford company is still hanging in there but the ZB "Commodore" is unlikely to develop anything like a proper foothold in this country . Truly sad for the fans of the brand . Recalls never ever help . I still haven't seen a single ZB in the metal . Not one single car. Would actually love see one or two but convinced the big mistake is calling it COMMODORE...Not a Commodore by any stretch .

Oh too bad. Was hoping it was recalled for being incorrect wheel drive and/or incorrect country of manufacture.

"The recall consists of 2167 liftbacks, Sportwagons and Tourers– a list of all VIN numbers affected can be found here. Holden will personally contact those affected and direct them to their nearest dealership – owners can call 1800 632 826 for more information." https://m.drive.com.au/motor-news/ne...ed-117966.html

Yes, but probably not at such a critical moment in its history.

Cheers

Why is the Aussie version not recalled? Different belts perhaps, or Australia just a bit slow to decide on a recall?

They are probably still on the boat. Just fix them there, or just push them overboard.

Americans throw their rubbish away all the time.
