i dont think i should colour code them as my paint isn't that healthy
i was thinking that i could paint them gloss black and then give them a coat of clear like eb series 2 and while i'm at it do my boot garnish the same

it wont matter what your paint is like. black handles, especially on white cars stand out like dogs bits! at least if there white too they wont be as noticable. give your car a good cut 'n' polish too and that should bring back some life into the paintwork.

they might were you live but here in glen innes (6000 people) there are that many people with white falcons and black door handles and you stand out if you have coloured car and i coudn't easily put my hands on ef handles but if i do it will be further down the track. just need to do other things to the car (new mirror glass and clutch) efs round here are still going for $7000

yeah some cars look good with the el handles but ATM i'm not into it. dosent mean i'll be like this forever, i might turn around tomoro and love the el handles on EBs etc. i used to like them but ATM i think the EB handles suit the shape of an EB better, the EL handles suit the shape of ELs better too. all personal opinion!

brandensEBxr6 iv seen that many cars fitted with ef/l door handles its defornetly an improvement to the exterior, thats in my opinion of course, if you can paint

eb_falcon_gl if you can paint, your 1 step ahead already, i would say find some EF/L door handles, paint em to the colour of your car and slap em on, defornetly a recommended mod for the exterior of that car there great ;)

yeah i dunno, i like em and i dont. i think it all depends on the neatness of the car for me. i have some laying around here that i painted blue with touch up paint. they came up crap tho and when i went to put them on i found the old handles have left a mark around it which is visible when the el handles are on. i'd have to get the whole doors resprayed really! so i plan to paint my EB handles soon!

There was a thread somewhere, might have been on another forum though.

Pretty sure you use EB/ED rear door handles and cut away part of the door for it to fit like it does on the sedan.

Wow, thread mining?

You could buy a rusted out XD-XH door and try to fit handle. Best way to learn is to give it a go.
