G'day Biggy,

Yes mate and there is some great action on it. What I thought I might do is sit down on the weekend with my editing software and polish it up before I burnt copies of it.

Again the content is great and what I will do is run off a copy for all that went on the track.

Cheers,

Ken

Your a champ Ken. I would imagine there would be a few hours spent on the computer doing the editing.... I look forward to seeing the finished result...

Question: what software are you using and how hard it it to put music to the footage... Reason I ask is because I wat to do a video to a soundtrack of Don, Grant and I doing the Dutton Rally.....

G'day Matt,

I am no expert by any means and that's why I use Ulead Studio Video 8. It is simple to use and music can be added very easily. The original sound is still there but the music can be put in as an underscore if you know what I mean. That way you can hear the roar of those beautiful turbos and still have music.

LOL his poor brain will be ticking over thinking of a come back statement. Only for a kid like me to add another sledging comment. And then the cycle starts again.

Were waiting jabba. :

Hey Ken. After seeing the way you drive, I would be surprised that you could even get your turbo spooled up....You old granny shifter..... LOL

But hey, if you like the sound of a roaring turbo. What do think the sound of a Twin turbo BOSS would be like....MMMMMMM..... The opportunity has been put before me, and I am seriously considering.... But it may cost me to miss the Dutton if I don't get it back in time, And I am not going to miss doing that, NOT at all.... :eclipsee_

G'day Gang,

Just an update, the editing is almost done and then I will add some transitions and titles and its good to go. Then all I have to do is burn a 35 - 40 copies for all those that participated. Don't expect too much as I am not a professional. I will have them with me on the Gympie weekend for those that are going.

Cheers,

Ken

Default morgan park dvd

Ken,

You can't charge the 8's when one of the winning 8's took the dvd in the first place.

Ps why would the sixes want a copy anyway unless you found a way to speed them on the dvd.

I would love to see the dvd too. I have film from my digital camera and watch that every day, so it would have to be better than that.

G'day Team,

I trust you are all having a restfull long weekend, the last before Christmas. I have been glued to my computer all weekend and have finished off the DVD and will have some with me this week at 888 and Bowdens.

Now the disclaimer. The Big Hitter is a first time Cameraman and used a borrowed camera. Having said that I think he did a great job and without him there would be no video at all. Like the big bloke I am not going to get called up by Spielberg to edit his next epic. I had a crack and added some music to accompany the roar of the sixes and whimpers from the eights. Lastly the footage I got was already in DVD format. Once in this format it can't be edited so I copied it to VHS, ran the VHS through my camera and captured it on the computer in Digital so it could be edited. There has been a very slight loss of quality but not enought to notice.

Right all that sounds like it turned out bad but I think it is good, the Club in full flight couldn't be anything else but good.

Cheers,

Ken

Hi Ken

I use pinnacle v10 and I am sure that you can edit dvd with this software, I am becoming a bit of an expert as I have just completed a 5 disc set of dvd's of my sons trip to the u14 Austalian Basketball championships.

No matter what the quality I am sure the dvd will be great as 8's always look good and sound great.

Cheers Jeff

Thanks Ken for devoting your free time to put it all together ... great job! Thanks also to The Big Hitter for putting in the time to capture it all on video.

Gretel also thank's The Big Hitter for her starring role while seated, in the opening scenes.

Regards,

Pdreo.
