Thankyou guys for all your kind words...............

I took the exhaust off, passenger seat out and replaced the drivers seat with a lightweight race item and a 4 point harness. The rest you guys know. I imagine the first meet at calder should yield at least a clear tenth and a half better.

Thanks to XDSLIDER (big luke) XRQTR (stef) BA COMPANY CAR (craig) DABOSS (Robby) XRFPV8 (mark) for their help today.

What a rush - the car is exactly 1780 with me in it, meaning I have removed about 60kg from the car. Im still way heavier than the 1500kg weight the bolt-on LS1 guys stick around. The incar vid and outside vids are orsm, as soon as i can find out how to post them, they will be up.

Hopefully now guys, people will now realise that the Biggest, Baddest, BOSSIEST bentest 8 of them all now has a place in feared strip weapons.

3 11.9's, a handful of 1.7's, I couldn't be happier. Im back off to watch the video again.

The future? trust me, its gonna be a fun summer!!

1780kg to 1500kg, is a BIG difference isn't it, I sure hope those LS1 boy's show some respect to the extra weight the Boss has to lug around.

Are you going to keep working on Bolt-on only performance or are you going to open it up now?

11's now Chris? Well done, all the hard work and countless hours at the workshop has paid off, and the rewards keep coming in

Will be good when some more customers are into the 12's and 11's, LS1's will be threatened!

Truly amazing effort Chris and well deserved.
Anyone that knows you personally, knew that we had only a short time to wait.
It's now time to spend a bit of time with your missus and wait for team BluePower to show its colours at Heathcote end of Jan.

Well done mate. :

Chris, getting back to your apples vs apples thing, why not try a run with some hefty weight losses to get it closer to commy weight, and then see what the difference is

Maybe swap the ute tub for a tray and gut the insides, take all accessories off

I agree with rodderz, take the tub off and get the weight down to Commie level, but stay N/A.

I reckon there is now some merit in comparing like for like, and stripping the ute down to the same part levels as the LS1 crew and then re-running your times.

All really depends on what the goal is from here... Care to share that one?

But now do you want to get there! N/A? Forced? Stripped? Laughing all the way? All of the above?

It's your project, but you have a lot of people hanging onto your coat tails saying things and trying to persuade you many directions i'm sure.

I figure you are yet to reach the limits of natural aspiration of the 5.4L in 260 form, and I have my own things i'd like to see. But just like any project, it's your baby and do it your way - we'll all be here cheering for you.
