That explains it; they were the instructions Cav used to install a cat door.

OK: I admit it wasn't Cav it came from this Facebook post: https://www.facebook.com/groups/home...29152864474228 The amazing thing is how many blokes made the same mistake.

Nah that's not right; as a learned Egyptologist I know the meaning of those pictographs are clear and in order mean:

Upwards waving palm fronds= **** Off
Eye= Look Like
Chick=Chick
Ugly Crow=Ugly Crow
Hand=hands
Chick=chicks
Ugly Crow=Ugly Crow
Leg=legs
Ugly crow=Ugly Crow
Saw=Saw
hand=Hands
happy chick= happy chick
cat head shape=cats head's shape
cat=cat
Upward waving palm frond= **** off

So in short it means: "You doubly **** off the chicks and look like an ugly crow so take your hands off the chicks and the birds legs youse ugly crow should get your hands on a saw and please the chicks by cutting a cat's head shaped hole like this for the cat then ****ing off."

With your translator, it's a wonder you even got this close to getting this minor carpentry job right.

PS I expect and honorary PH.D from Ford Forums for this masterful translation.

Missed the bird=Birds before the leg pictograph

So the complete version is:

Upwards waving palm fronds= **** Off
Eye= Look Like
Chick=Chick
Ugly Crow=Ugly Crow
Hand=hands
Chick=chicks
Bird=Birds
Leg=legs
Ugly crow=Ugly Crow
Saw=Saw
hand=Hands
happy chick= happy chick
cat head shape=cats head's shape
cat=cat
Upward waving palm frond= **** off

But still means: "You doubly **** off the chicks and look like an ugly crow so take your hands off the chicks and the birds legs youse ugly crow should get your hands on a saw and please the chicks by cutting a cat's head shaped hole like this for the cat then ****ing off."
