Hi folks, Steve here. I thought I'd better say "Hello" . We bought a 2015 Kuga Titanium diesel, with 90,000kms on it, a couple of years ago. Only problem so far has been a dead battery recently. There were a couple of items when I bought it that were fixed under warrenty. A great car to drive and handles the twisties quite well, not as rough on typical Gippsland roads as I thought it might be with the 19" wheels and 45 profile tyres. The heated seats have been appreciated through Winter, especially by the wife. For her, a cold day and a bit of driving means she leaves her Kia Picanto at home, so she can have a warm backside. All I can really say about the Kuga is "Lovin' it".

G'day all, I purchased a BA RTV dual fuel cab chassis as a daily driver 10 odd years ago and having retired recently started converting it for camping trips and as it has 190k on it have done a few repairs. Started repairs with front stub axles, bearings, top and bottom ball joints, and new Monroe front struts and rear shock absorbers, that made a huge difference in the handling and noise levels in cab also changed rotors n brake pads. New plugs and coil packs fitted and an oil change filter replacement.
Unfortunately have noticed whirring noise from diff now that all the rest is quieter, will try oil change before resorting to changing wheel bearings l/h side noisier than right.
Has anyone done and got any hints on changing rear bearings?
I have also put a couple of toolboxes on rear tray, one is for fishing/metal detector n camping bits the other holds a 42l 12v fridge on a slide, various charge controllers, 100ah Battery and have fitted 190w worth of solar to cross bars over the tray all works well.
The ute is a lot more reliable since I started doing my own servicing I was very dissapointed with work done at local specialty Ford repairer after they were 2 litres short in auto trans oil and fitted wrong belt tensioner pulley, and front rotors they fitted only lasted 6 months before Braking Steering wheel wobble returned.
Shoot that was a long intro but I am looking forward to learning from the experiences of others on this forum I may even post a few pics as time progresses.

Hey Hippie here, G'day, I have no clue how to use a forum, but I need help with a 96 transit, 2.5 turbo diesel, stuck in limp mode, have found where to plug in tester, local ford dealer says the don't have gear that old & don't stock/supply parts for them either. My question is where do I get & what do I need to read to read codes. help. ta

Hello All.New here & this is my first post.I'm running a 351 clevo,top loader,9 inch with 3:25's.My issue is the clevo will only rev to 4 grand.It's stock bottom end,a mild cam,electronic dizzy,standard 2v open chamber heads an Edelbrock performer manifold & a 750 quick fuel holley.It pulls hard to 4 grand then runs out of puff.I'd like to turn her to 5000 to 5500.Any suggestions would be appreciated. HI MINDSNAP here,
Having trouble finding the coolant temp sensor on my 2010 FG falcon 4L factory gas sedan.
been told its at the back of the head but nothing like a coolant sensor is seen
can anyone help.

Hello all. I am an oldie whose son has just bought a Ford Ranger Raptor. Dad tends to dig out information for Jeff.

His Raptor is full of legal extras such As Ironman Canopy, bullbars, spotties, reinforced load carry capacity on roof, two way, long range tanks, dual battery system...the list goes on.

Is there a specific 4 x 4 area I should drill into? I have a couple of questions re. tray fractures behind the cabin?

By the way, took me a while to find where to post my introduction. "Reply" maybe could say "New Post" or have both.

There isn't a specific 4x4 area but if you go to the Ranger section here someone there may be of some help.

Hi everyone. I bought a cheap 2008 SY Territory a few weeks ago and have been lurking here since then. She has not been well maintained in some areas and I have already addressed some of those with help from this forum. Hoping to post helpful info as I gain more experience. I have previously hands-on restored a 1972 XJ6 Jag. Some of that experience has helped me.

Decided to join up as we've just pulled the family XW out of the barn for some TLC. Over in NZ so this one is radio and heater delete plus dog dish hubcaps.
76k Miles and 221 engine 3 on the tree. Bought brand new here by the grandparents and parked up mid 2000s.

Hello folks, here's my one and only Ford, a 1963 Corsair 1500 GT. This is my second Corsair, and I also owned a 105E Anglia for a while. My family usually ran Fords, starting with a 1956 Consul Mk2, and including a 220 and a 240 Cortina Mk1, an Escort 1300 Mk1, and an XY Falcon station wagon. We had several other Falcons, but I'm fond of this one because it was the family workhorse for camping holidays.

Hi All - Greetings from Tenterfield.
I have recently acquired an AU ute 2002 as a backup/general duties vehicle.
Even though it's showing it's age, it handles well on the highway. That convinced me to buy a 2009 FG G6e that came up for sale in Toowoomba. I plan to do as much maintenance on the cars as my health allows. I really find the forum a great source of information & its already assisting my maintenance.

It's a wonderful mechanism for linking Ford owners Australia wide.

I will be starting an FC LTD rebuild later this year.
I got my hands on an AUiii 220kw tickford engine and auto to plonk in to it.
It will be a cruiser for me and the wife when its finished.
I will start a thread when I get it started( have to finish the new house first)

We are expecting our Everest soon. Joined up to share any improvements we make and to see what everyone else has modified for their convenience. Dodged the Ford up-sell (P.A.T. 'Perfexion' ceramic at $2,100, $1,000 tinting, and BlackVue F/R cameras at $1,500) for our own options, but opted for the Ford trailer brake controller ($820).

G'day from WA, i've been a Ford fan since i was young, i've owned most cars from XA , and currently still have my BF XR6 i have had for 13 years.
i'm a little stumped with a few dramas at the moment, so thought i would call on a few legends to see if i can fix the problems with all my dash warning lights being on, no radio, aircond, or blower. its doing my head in. hopefully i can find a few threads. thanks for having me.

Hi everyone, I have recently purchased a 12/2000 LTD V8 dual fuel.
I am having issues with the starting system. The starter motor will not engage the fly wheel with the solenoid making a 'clicking' sound and not engaging the Bendix Drive. In the past if I have ever had this situation I have changed the starter motor and the problem is fixed. I have installed a new starter but the problem still exists.

Any thoughts?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all, I'm looking for a good mechanic in Perth WA that won't rip me off and does quality work, I have a BF XR6 and I'm pretty sure the head gasket requires replacing, plus some other things like the heater and windscreen washer not working, looking for a mechanic that I can trust and keep going back too as I would like to get this car back to its pristine condition, thanks for your suggestions in advance. Hi i am robbo 01 i have been a member of this site for years.I use this site for information and to keep enthused when you are troubleshooting problems.I own xg van ef xr6 ba xr6na 5 speed mk 2 and ba xr6 turbo6 speed manual full optioned i have had these cars for years and maintinance jobs keep me busy.
