Default ZF Question

I just bought a BF Ghia with ZF for a daily driver. It's done 120,000 kms and is leaking oil from what I thought was a drain plug on the ZF pan. So I reached under and went to tighten it with an allen key but it clicked twice. So I jacked up the car and see that it is some kind of adjuster so I clicked it back twice.
What does it adjust and how do I stop oil leaking from it?

Default Re: ZF Question

Sorry for the delay its like a child lock bottle top as it only needs to be tightened to 8nm.

The sump could be cracked in that area or the seal is bad on the plug. You could remove and change the seal but if it leaks you need to drain the oil again to replace the sump.

This is why the steel pan is a popular option.
