Default Weld Racing on AU offset

Ive been looking around for a while at Weld Draglites for my ute. Had 18's on for a little while, but its not the look im after.

I have seen a few AU/BA's with either Draglites or Pro stars and im wondering what offset they go with.

im looking at 15x6 or 15x7 on the front and 15x8 on the back, but before i order them i want to know if anyone can give me some details on fitment. I want the rears to fill out the guards...

cheers Jeff.

it's a bit of a problem with au offset. a standard ford 8" wheel has 6" B/S, and the biggest b/s pro stars or draglites go is 5.5". so they will stick out 12.5mm more, which will come very close to the tub, if not hit.

also, if yours is series 2, with the bigger 2 spot brakes, you will have to modify them to put 15's on the front.

ba's you see with big rears under them have shortened diffs, so the offset is not a problem.

Illegal to go backwards in rim size, being an XLS yours would have had 16's from new.

hmmmm......interesting. might re-think. 16 inch is a very un-popular aftermarket size.

The 17's might be the go for you, it will get you around the issue with the front brakes. I've got convo pros on mine 15x12 but i've built a custom tray. I've been looking for info on fitting them on the front with not a lot of help. So i'll be going for 15x4 1/2 or 5 with the least amount of backspace and mod the caliper if its needed.
