That's a great time from the old aussie six in a Falcon, they're a ripper engine.

STOKEB is in the 13's with no gas. With proper street tyres too, not DOT approved race tyres that stick out 2 inches from the guards ala the Jim mock car. Not exactly sure what his time was but the Mph was more than the JMM car IIRC.

STOKEB has mentioned elsewhere on the forums that he uses gas... but I think from watching his car every week that it has run a high 13 without gas.

The JMM EB definitely doesn't run gas as far as I can see and I've seen the whole thing up close enough times. I think it is a fair bit lighter than a road going EB though.

My own EL that I no longer have ran 14.55 @ 98 in 2002 with a full sick engine and 16.20 @ 83 with a stocker

1. I think you need a good pair of glasses Dan, cause the tyres on Brendens car are inside the guards. And when I bolted them on my ute, they where inside the guards!!! Don't get my wrong, not trying to start an arguement, just showing that facts.

2. STOKEB was sitting on 13.9's i think and then cracked the bottle to hit 13.2's

Brendens car has everything in it, except a spare wheel, and from what I see at Calder and Heathcote, 99% of people remove the spare when they drag. So, it is still FULL weight.

Maybe your right but I was just making the comparison that Hus runs 205's everyday street tyres and the JMM car tyres are huge in comparison.

Do you know just how wide the tyres are on the mock car? Are the ones your talking about the same as the ones at the heathcote meet where you helped take out my gas tank?

I will admit they are huge. There 12.5" wide(wall to wall) which in reality have the same gripping surface that my 8.5" slicks have. Yes they would be the same tyres as that day mate, cause he only has the one set.

:hihi: HEHEHE, remebering how much quicka you went after after that tank was pulled out!!!!! :hihi:
