Well it's what I've been told and that's by a guy who has seen it as his mate works for Ford. But of course he couldn't share much as he would lose his job.

I was told from a dealer principal it is FZ at the moment but not locked in. there will be no power increase to the I6 only remapped for better L/KM. 3 new colours, new interior colours and patterns, slight changes to the ICC and a few tech things. that's all folks!

I have seen one of the new colours, it's a gold colour, maybe a bit like HSV's Hackett Gold used on the VT SV99? It was a lighter gold colour than Tiger Gold that every second VT was painted.

https://www.google.com.au/search?q=H...28%3B710%3B480

Looks good too.

And yes, a new wiring loom isn't going to make extra power, cause that's all the I6's are getting that's different.

So to make everyone right, maybe there's a Dual-mapped PCM with Eco and Power modes.....just needs sufficient Flash for the 2nd tune and program logic, and a button which requires connection via a new LOOM.

There, are we all happy now?

Yeah I reckon it looks good. Bit of a missed opportunity there though because I think they should have done the GT-F solely in that colour with black stripes, just like the XR GT. It does look similar to GT Gold.

Someone posted this on facebook just before. No real details. Just that it was taped up on the front and rear and missing badges.

that just looks like a Honda Accord Euro tester or something, LHD too by the look of it - or maybe some sort of Ford hybrid as the badge does look Ford-ish

rear door line is different, door shape - and reports are FZ will use FG doors - nose is too low

Then again maybe i'm completely wrong and that's the XR6/Turbo, in which case i'm not a fan

It looks very FG like although there are some differences to the front bumper that stand out. Hard to tell in the dark colour but great to see something new!

Looks like FG window trim like on the G6ET. and the bodyline along the bottom looks similar.
Late model BF2 18inch wheels as well.

they're not BF2 wheels - they're similar but the channels and end bits closer to the tyre are shaped differently

Hawkeye is correct. But that mule has fg headlights tacked on for sure. And these have been spotted around broadmeadows have they not? Is Ford Aus helping develop this car?

If that's a new Ford they've moved the front axle back, and the bonnet seems shorter (but that could be camera angle.)

Look at the amount of metal between the wheel and the front door, then compare it with an FG.
Is there a difference or is it just me?

(edit, just saw Farnsie's post....... as you were
