That Monaro is a bloody replica of an Italian classic, the 'Fiat Coupe'....

I have been looking into importing one of these beauties ever since I saw a yellow one on the streets of Turin with bonnet scoops and a body kit that made it look like a Ferrari.

i quite like it, although the front isnt excactly good looking. looks like they are trying to capture a bit of aston martin or somthing in the front bar,,

i thought that thing was a lancia or somthing, you can get them in GT3(or 2, cant remember which). its a bi turbo front wheel drive

Picked her up on Saturday... after several years of searching I finally found the right car at the right time in the right place at the right price...

Got it for my birthday (today)... I still can't wipe the smile from my face.

Forget about the looks as looks alone is purely subjective, you never know what market it is aimed at, BUT where does that price tag come from??? How do they justify that???

for design inspiration get a picture of a car give it to your son with some crayons and then make what he has drawn on there - it seems to be working for bitter.

The Bitter is up against the German marques, enough said!.

This is from wikipedia, but has an interesting ommission as mine is a 1996 16v 2ltr turbo.

It's got around 140kw / 190hp and will do the 100 in around 6.5-6.8 depending on the site you reference.

It is very smooth to drive... turbo kicks in at around 2800 and boy does it push you back into your seat.

I have never driven or owned a turbo, but can now see how easy it is to get unstuck... My brother was suggesting bigger wheels / bigger turbo / addition of an intercooler but bugger that, will leave it as is.

I love the design aswell and think it is one of his best. It still looks modern.
