Hi all,

Does anyone here have a T31 Nissan X-Trail Diesel? Or anyone know of any issues with them, common problems etc?

Any info would be appreciated

Mate of mine had one, felt strong to drive and especially to tow with. The hugely boxy body meant it never felt undersized. It used to get 1000km to a tank pretty easily.

The manuals had a more powerful and torquey diesel than the auto variant.

His was written off after being smashed beyond belief in a peak hour nose to tail on the M4 in Sydney. He walked away unscathed.

Mate has one, just did the clutch and diff at 70,000km, cost 3.5k

We have a ZH Outlander, I've serviced for the last 60,000km, fault free for 165,000km and only had minor servicing, it gets flogged as well.

Don't buy them as they have tranny problems in less than 80k.
