His van would have electric brakes, but he obviously doesn't have a controller in his car.
Quite a dangerous scenario really, a 100k van is likely to be well over 2000kg, so he's relying on the car to pull up most likely more than 5t.

Dob him into your roads authority before he kills someone with it.

Why are you tolling him?? Isn't there enough tolls already? Pretty sure he will get hit with plenty of tolls once he starts driving it, but if he can afford a 180K set up I am sure a few tolls won't worry him too much.

I am pretty certain not every body knows, I asked all my family and no one had any idea, I bet if you did a survey only a small percentage of the population would know.

He might have esc (Electronic stability control), and anti sway control on the van. They have brake controllers located on the draw bar.

If he bought it new, no van dealership worth their salt will let a van off their lot being towed by a tug with no brake controller.

Ranger's aren't $80k

The trick with telling stories is to make them believable at least.

I can only go on what my ***ker mate told me. I believe it, because his old rig had no brake controller and that van was a big van as well.

He bought it at the caravan and camping show in SA , had to take it there and then to get that price. Do you think the insurance company will chase the dealer or the ***ker who didn't spend 400 for a controller if it rolls. Its the buyers responsibility. By the way wanker, I don't lie, just something my mother taught me. Take it to a custom shop, wanker, see how far 20,000 gets you.
