Seems ZBs have been out long enough to start hitting the auctions - this one comes with added extras you don't usually get:

Just the other day I was quoted high 80s for a 30th anniversary LSA Clubby. Brand spanker in white. Would rather go a GTS-R for a little more..

Its funny, when I bought my Redline (November last year) I found that the dealers who where asking a fair price (retail less whatever you could negotiate) are the ones who sold all their allocation pretty quickly.

Case in point -

Dealer 1 had a Blue Manual - August Build with the spec I wanted. They knew I was serious and was ready to sign a deal. With a straight face they wanted me to pay $10k over the odd's because "they are the last one's". Sales manager was a money grabbing douche. I told them to stick it and walked away. They had plenty of unsold stock

Dealer 2 had a Manual - Again, Spec I wanted but July Build and Gold. They where willing to talk turkey and actually started at Retail (which I was expecting) and I managed to get a good discount (thousands) including Mat's, full tank, etc. Was a fair price so I bought it their and then.

Dealer 1 - Called me in February to see if I was still looking and interested. They still had heaps (and they still had the one I was going to buy) I checked not to long ago and they still had some left

Dealer 2 - Had sold all their stock (including the HSV's) before end of Last year

Yet another act of stupidity from some Holden Dealers...

Momentous day .. Finally laid eyes on a ZB Commodore ..other than supercars and videos I hadn't seen a single on in the metal until today .

Was just about to get in my car at the servo after topping up the XR6 for the weekend when a bright red one passed slowly by me heading coast direction . In the few seconds I got a look , it seemed pretty nice ..Didn't mind it at all . Next trick is to get a proper look or even talk with someone that owns one .
At least I can say I've seen one now after all this time ...Woo Hoo..

According to our local rag, VF been recalled, apparently with a steering issue. Problem is, there are no spare parts. Fancy having your new pride and joy stuck on blocks due to no parts.

I'm not sure on the particulars but I'm pretty sure Holden has to carry spares for a while to come yet so it would seem unlikely that is true.
