Looks like it will share the next rangers frontal treatment with the wrap around headlights

Can tell what the basic shape of the body will be, looking at that.

Noticed in Ford's press release it says twin turbo eoboost engine. Only one petrol ecoboost engine uses 2 turbos.

I think it’ll be more old school like the 1960’s version. Headlights etc.

Let’s see what happens.

That grille I reckon lends itself more towards this I'd say

Ecoboost I said. Not diesel. Yanks don't want diesel.

Looking at that silhouette and it will definately be inspired by the original Bronco. Ties in with Jay Leno and Ford Performance doing a GT500 powered original Bronco at Sema too.

20 is the class it is racing in, and 69 is a tribute to the Bronco winning the Baja 1000 in 1969.

I didn't say diesel either. The 2.7, 3.0 and 3.5 Ecoboost all meet the twin turbo criteria.

That's pretty much the two door side panel but the rear D Pillar and hatch are missing
the 37" wheels are too big, should be about 30" or slightly less..

It was obvious you were joking, but it was funny given how long it’s been since Ford originally teased it. I had no idea what the 2069 referred to though, and I’m glad BossXR8 clarified it. I’m sure he knows you were joking too!

Ford like to slip teasers on their prototypes. Could be 6th September or 9th June 2020 to be released? Gets the punters talking.

My bad. I completely forgot about the 3 litre Ecoboost, which is only new for Explorer this year.

My original post about only one engine having the 2 turbos was meant to reference the 6 cylinder configuration, rather than the 3 individual variants.
