yeah i've noticed the same thing - obviously slower at peak times (fri sat night, lunch time etc) but in general has been choking up a bit. I'm guessing it's choking up as more and more people join up. Either that or the server is being run through dialup ? :P

It is worse than I thought. I timed how long it took to load up this page (2min 34sec). I have deledted all my cookies and Cache file, I ran both my anti viruses and both my spyware programs. My system is clean. The is only 239 people on the site at the time I timed it

What is wrong, this is painfull......

I have also been getting alot of errors when trying to access pages.

For insatance:

"There seems to have been a slight problem with the database.
Please try again by pressing the refresh button in your browser.

An E-Mail has been dispatched to our Technical Staff, who you can also contact if the problem persists.

We apologise for any inconvenience."

The above error is happening more and more frequently for me.

It is just the backup in progress, I don't think we need to harp on the point, we are aware of it and are putting measures in place to avoid it in the near future.

Fortunately we have Donating Members that help us to funds such upgrades.
