NUKEMAP ... Nuclear Secrecy.com

On the site below you can choose any city in the world, then choose any nuclear warhead made and tested including those from NK, then denote the bomb and it will give you the estimated fatalities and injuries, including the damage at different radiuses from ground zero.

You can even move the point of denotation to your exact suburb and home address.

So if say you reside in Sydney and the hydrogen bomb was detonated in the CBD... You can see what would happen to you if say you lived in a suburb XX Kms from the blast, etc.

Assuming you survive the initial blast... It will tell you your probability of severe scarring or disablement, requiring amputation, and probability for 3rd degree burns and how long you will take to die from radiation, either hours or weeks.

Scary stuff that puts NK and everything into perspective if they manage to develop long range intercontinental missiles capable of carrying a nuclear payload.

Yep, especially considering it'll only take about 30 minutes for a missile to reach Sydney. The US should flatten NK now

The last thing China wants is the collapse of NK.
It would mean 25 Million North Korean refugees (or what's left of them) trying to cross the border into China.
The biggest issue would be starvation of the millions... Already many lacking enough food with Kim spending most of the national budget on arms.

The USA created this problem in the 50's by dividing Korea into two parts... On reflection, that is the worst thing they ever did.... They have made a rod for their own back and the free world.

Sorry if my light-hearted, politically neutral comment upset you in some way.

Just image the refugee tsunami on our doorstep if the don activates his codes.
North & South Korea would be devastated and a belligerent China ready to kick some backside.
And the winner is... nobody

Mother Nature sucks. Why couldn't hurricane Harvey and Irma have hit the Korean Peninsula instead. World problems solved
