Should be used to promote Ecoboost, that thing has serious power!

Anybody know what day(s) it'll be out on the track? I'll have to make sure I have a good spot to see it.

Track schedule received today says the following times for Demonstration, assuming it will include this car. It does say subject to change so check website closer to the date.
Friday 5th at 9:45 for 25mins and 5:15 for 5mins
Saturday 6th at 4:45 for 5 mins

Would love to see a FordGt car race at the 12 hour

Maybe this thing would help Scotty beat the Red Bulls.

IIRC, they pulled power out of it to meet FIA spec.

Yep, part of BOP.
The road version has far more HP.

The FIA race version is still a very nice and has it's own form of high end uniqueness.

This short promotional vid is a few years old and shows dated packaging.

This link has some pretty nice info and photos. Unfortunately I can not link to them, so here is the link to the page.

It is easy to jump to other engines from the Roush Yates stable too.

This is all more up to date:

It's not built to GT3 specs. I wonder what would be required to bring it to GT3 spec though?

It's kind of suprising they didn't make some to GT3 specs.

Matech (i think) built GT3 Spec "retro" GT's. I think there were a few others too.

Yeah I do recall the older Ford GT had a few race as GT3's, but that was not a factory effort.

As said above it was Matech.

Torsion bars ftw.

Ryan Briscoe was interviewed and said the car was a show car, not one of the racers and had no setup whatsoever. He went on to say that because of that it wasn't being pushed.
