Wednesday night Race 4 Real off-street meets continue to be one of the most popular events on the Sydney Dragway calendar and it’s quite easy to see why!
Here are some great performances from last week’s Race 4 Real at Sydney Dragway Top Holden of the Week  This ‘BOSS’ VY definitely proved the worthiness of that title, laying down very consistent runs with a best sprint down the quarter of 11.8 @ 115MPH Top Ford of the Week  Never let the unassuming exterior fool you. Besting a 12.7 @ 108MPH with a .137 reaction time, this Fairlane leans more towards sports than luxury! Top Japanese of the Week  This week’s top Japanese pick goes to this very neat TA22 Toyota Celica. This gorgeous red classic blazed an 11.4 @ 123MPH at the finish. Top Rotary of the Week  This well-presented 1971 Mazda RX2 was loud, ported and proud with a 13.7 @ 111MPH, giving the rotorheads a great representation on the night! Top Euro of the Week  This matte black Audi pocket rocket was spitting flames off the line! Showing the big boys that displacement isn’t everything, the German hot hatch ran an amazing best of 11.4 @ 121MPH. Commentators Pick of the Week  This week’s Commentators Pick goes to this very tough Ford FG GS ute. Standard to the eye, the big drag radials under the rear helped put the power down and the owner was very happy to go home with a 10.2 @ 133MPH on the time slip. A 10 second stock-looking street car with rego – The dream! Race 4 Real is on every Wednesday night at Sydney Dragway, weather permitting. Keep it safe, legal and off the streets!
