Default Bonnet heat/soundproofing

Hi guys, recently I purchased one of thr fibreglass bonnets for my FGXR6T, sorry its not an F6, and had it fitted and it looks fantastic. My question is should I or not have the heatproofing put back on? I will have to have a hole cut in it for the air scoop so it really wont be any use if ever the bonnet gets damaged and I put the steel one back on If I do. So how many of you fitted it to the new bonnet? Thanks.
