Default tail lights

hey i just need to know how to pop my tail light lens out on my AU.. i got the whole thing out but i dont want to bust anything... is there a way to pop it out without snapping stuff off?
reason is i want to give them a real light tint.. i bought the sh!t today but yeah cant get the f**k*rs off to do them!

There should be an article for that on the au falcon site....or maybe that's headlights. If they're sealed, it'll prob be the same process.

hmm yeah that is for the head lights... dont feel like cooking tonight! LOL!

i couldnt stop laughing first time i read the article in the workshop for the headlights... i thought casper was joking when he wrote...

Turn oven onto 150 degrees C. LOL

Just spray them from the outside and then go over with a can of clear coat. Done.

is the setup the same as the au3? if so they undo from inside the boot and just pull out once wires are disconected, you may need to pull back some of the carpet in the boot but from memory only 3 or 4 nuts to undo and your away.

Nah he means actually opening up the light assembly itself. Getting it off the car like you said is easy !

You cant. They are a sealed unit. The tabs are actually melted on to seal it.
You have to tint the outside.

do ya really paint the out side?
that seems pretty dodgy doesnt it?
i also didnt go out intent on buying the paint, i just found the can lying on the ground in super cheap and couldnt find where to put it so i bought it!
