Default What H4 globes are you using?

Hey guys,

Im going to be change my brand of H4 globes ive been using Phillips Blue vision globes for my car, But im dissapointed with the life span i get out of them im only getting around 4 months out of a pair of H4s its not a wiring thing as one will blow and the other is fine for a little while.

So I would like to know what H4 globes you are using and your experiences with brands and types of globes in your AU?

Cheers
Mark

I've been using Narva ones for a while. Can't go wrong with one of those brands. Have been using it since, pre xmas. And you could say I drive a fair bit at night, so they get turned on a fair amount.

I got the legal ones. Blue Vision or maybe Diamond Vision, i think they are called.

I've found the blue and white vision globes don't seem to work to good in the wet when the weather is bad. I now use the Narva Plus 50's.

JSM HID Bi-Xenon in mine.
Full HID globe replacement ... including ballasts and hi/low switch and extra relays.
I have no problem seeing at dusk or in the rain at night.

Life expectany is 10 times longer than Halogen globes ... light clarity is 3 times better as well.

Here's a rough picture on what it looks like on grass in the front yard

Through a friend of Melb (I'm in Syd ... I know him through another forum) ... his mate is a supplier of the JSM brand.

It's the Bi-Xenon H4 kit ... not the Xenon/Halogen high/low kit a lot of places on eBay are selling for the H4s.

Mine cost me $550 ... but they are dropping in price though.

The Narva kit is in excess of $1000 still.
