2008 show 'n shine

The local Holden boys are organising a show 'n shine and dyno, at Kempsey racetrack - in the New Year and we have been invited to attend, as have other clubs. More details will be available in the next couple of weeks, so keep it in mind, as it should be a good day. There is also a car show coming up in January? at Ballina - more details on that can be found on the East Coast Holden Club website via a link. Funny...my keyboard malfunctioned every time I typed in Hodlen, I mean Heldon...bloody Holden-see what I mean!

We have our trip away in January. But when we recieve an official invitation, we will put it through the committee and see what we come up with. But thanks for the heads up Trish.

I think you will find that the show is at the race course in Port not kempsey.

yes l have been told it is at the race course in port by a good sorce even its from a hol d e n mate . l will be there $ 50 bucks for the dyno .

I am not a member of any club as it does not really interest me at this point in time. My XY is built as a drag car so its not very good for driving all over the countryside and is un reg'd and my XD needs some work.

You are still most welcome to join us on any of our club runs if you are interested,as we say you don't have to have the flashest ford on the street,just as long as its a ford....lol

Just been talking to a east coast holdens member and we did get sent a invite which must off got lost(we will never know)

They are expecting 300 cars and many other displays
1200hp ute
twin turbo v6
other big hp cars a well.

The reason it wasn't organized well is because the race course was slow to get back to them and they organized it all in one month.

I think 8am at Food 4 Less works, as we should all arrive together... Unless anyone has another idea?

It was so good to finally get home on the weekend. Started the car up after 2 weeks of sitting there waiting for me and took it for a squirt ;) much fun-ness. Although this crappy weather makes me wish it had an lsd!

You know where to come and wash it if it gets dirty, I have all the gear you need.
The xy looks good , stripes are on, new number plates arrived today. Big detail on tomorrow for both cars.

still raining here on and off,so will give it a miss plus my daughter is coming over now and we have to do wedding stuff.....will see you on sunday...
