Yes - there are small differences in plugs but with a bit of wiring modification it can be done.

Cheers

What plugs are different Russell? Or just a moved pin here and there? (S1 futura with a s2 Fairmont cluster. Did have to move 4-8 wires.)

I knew about the swapped wires (done the same plus got the doors to light up individually)

Pretty sure the physical plug was the same though.

Ok so changing from a low series (it'll have speed and rpm, fuel and water temp) to a high series (adds oil pressure and battery voltage) right? 4wires need to be moved around and you have to replace the oil pressure switch with an oil pressure sender. If they both have the same gauges then it'll be a straight swap.

Any difference between XR ute and sedan? My cluster in the ute needs replacing, found a great same user but from sedan. Would hate to throw a code or plugs not fit.
