Wednesday night Race 4 Real off-street meets continue to be one of the most popular events on the Sydney Dragway calendar and it’s quite easy to see why!
Here are some great performances from last week’s Race 4 Real at Sydney Dragway. Top Holden of the Week  There’s no arguing that the HQ Holden Kingswood is an Aussie icon and a valuable piece of Australian motoring history. With Holden ceasing to exist very soon, it was great to see this blast from the past strutting its stuff here at Sydney Dragway and running an impressive best time of 12.99 @ 111.65 MPH. Top Japanese of the Week  Not every day do you see an R33 Skyline GT-R rocking one of its most desirable paint options, Midnight Purple. This beautiful example managed a best run of 11.91 @ 76.84, but with those plates we’re sure that its capable of much quicker times. Top Bike of the Week  It was great to see some two-wheeled action at Race 4 Real. This black and gold Suzuki GSXR1000 broke into the 10s with a best run of 10.16 @ 133.38 MPH, giving the cars a run for their money. Top European of the Week  German muscle at its absolute finest, the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG is the perfect combination of European refinement and brutal tyre-shredding performance. This stunning C63 AMG Edition 507 ran a best time of 12.26 @ 117.09 MPH. Top Ford of the Week  Managing a best run in the 11s with a 11.32 @ 133.16 MPH, this FG Falcon XR6 was a force to be reckoned with. Commentators Pick of the Week  The barebones, no-nonsense Caterham 7 is arguably the ultimate weekend track-day weapon and very rarely seen here on Australian soil. Due in no small part to its ultra-lightweight body, this silver example was piloted to a best time of 12.00 @ 115.79 MPH. Race 4 Real is on every Wednesday night at Sydney Dragway, weather permitting. Keep it safe, legal and off the streets! Gates open at 4:30PM and racing starts at 6:00PM.
