Hey

Just wondering if a rear spoiler from a 07-08 fiesta will fit a 04 ?

Cause i just saw this spoiler on ebay

It certaily will fit. The WP to WQ had the exact same fixing point and the tails were the same, but it must be a three door for it to fit as three dor and five door models did have a slightly different tail. But if you have the three door, it'll fit perfectly!

I doubt the retail price he has listed though, over a grand for a spoiler!

the only difference i knw of is the tail lights are different but the rear of the WP and WQ look the same...im not 100% sure though, i remeber when i bought my WQ ford wanted $1500 for the spoiler that was painting and fitting that was in 2008 though

Thats wat i was thinkin, i've just gone down the street to a mates house and he's father has a WQ and i looked at the rear hatch and there pretty much identical
and both mine and his are 3 door

Yeah $1k for the part only, no way

Maybe a $1k if Ford imported the part, painted it, and fit it, but even then thats a bit steep

The strage thing he mentiones is that it fits Fiesta moels from 2007-2008, the same time the XR4 was onsale. He must think it's an XR4 exclusive item, but i can assure you it'll definitly fit a WP as I looked at doing the same. Good luck fella, hope it works!

I recently got a rear spoiler for my aunties Suzuki Swift, and although it's a fair bit smaller than the XR4 spiller, it was $90 to be color coded to Superior Red which is a metallic color. That's professionally coated too, and the finish came up fantastic. I'm thinking your spiller would be a bit more as there is a lot more surface area. Check with a few color matches or car paint shops and they'll give you a better idea, unless someone else can help?

Yeh ive PM'd Adsy01 here on the forum, i saw that he had a ST spoiler in his sig

Asked him how much it cost to get painted and how he fit it, either himself or at a bodyshop ?

Yeh $90 is pretty damn good for a professional job + metallic paint...so u reckon max $200 for the XR4 spoiler??

Got the spoiler put on this afternoon, cost me $200 paint and fitted, got it done at Prototype Paints
167 Bellview Place, Caringbah

They also have:

Rear Bumper WQ 5dr
Side Skirts WQ 5Dr
Front Spoiler/Splitter WP&WQ

I'll take some pics of the spoiler when the weather clears up here

Well it's a HELL of a lot cheaper than the $1000+ Ford wanted! Good show mate, definitely show us some pictures when you get a chance. She'd look horn now.

That gets me keen to get mine on, I have had it sitting their for a few weeks now?

Can you please tell me the paint code and the place where they got it made up?

I am trying to find somewhere to get the paint made up and no one gets the correct colour!!!!

Yeh im pretty sure it was D7 - Panther Black - Ford Europe

And depending on yr fading, there's 3 tinges or temps,
low violet (LV), low yellow (LY) and low blue (LB)

But finding the perfect colour was hard thou, took hours to match the car to the colour palette booklet

That look absolutely horn brother. Fantastic work. From the rims, the new spoiler (which mates up nicely) and the Panther Black colour. The WP/WQ was such a sexy body, looks really tough. I love the look on my WS, but the taunt shape of the WP is awesome. The only thing i don't like is the ST badge, put an 'S' badge there! But that's debatable I guess. Love it fella, glad the spoiler fitted too!

Yeh i reckon the WP body is best of all, WQ had all the little errors ironed out, which gives the WP its charm,
but the new WS models arent for me, they just look like a shrunken down 4WD, ...like u see them here on photos and they look like the size of the new lancer hatchback and as u drive around town they look really small

no offence to all WS owners thou, but its not for me.....
