Default Interesting Ford V6 Coupe on Ebay

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/FORD-2-D...sAAOSwSf9cymKl

I have never heard of this model. It looks a bit of a cross between the 70's era Cortina and Capri

The ute behind is also interesting, it has ZA style reflectors below the bumper!

Yeah, it looks to be a South African version of the German Ford P7 (part of the Taunus family).

It differs from the Euro version with RHD & twin round headlights.

The ute looks like an HT or HG Holden, again South African with its additional red rear reflectors.

Yes, gut feeling is it’s an El Camino bakkie behind.

Thanks for the clarification on ZA vs Euro Taunii!

Hi,
I remember them from my childhood. The coupe is very rare. I don't see any differences from the German Taunus. It could be made in Germany.
Much more common was 17M, which was a V4 engine and 4-door.

Cheers,

It's some derivative of a Ford Zephyr.

Nup, still like it. One of my favourite cars is the 1953 Studebaker Starliner and most people I know think it's horrible. I really like the VW Karmann ghia and the Volvo p1800 too. Maybe I'm just weird

Front indicators look like TC Cortina,
same with the rectangular lights, grille, front edge of the bonnet.
At first I thought the body was similar design to the 60s Ford Corsair, but not when you compare them.
