More throphys for Orsm club today!:

Big John - Best BA-BF (4/4, the collection is growing...)

Ron - Best Small Ford Focus (that engine bay is getting better and better...)

Kev - Best EA-EL (first show and first award - orsm!)

Congrats to the orsm 3some!

Had a very enjoyable time today. Thanks to all orsm members who came and helped with the display. Once again we had a very nice display, pics coming very soon(uploading them right now)

Also would like to thank the organizers for putting it all together. They got quite a few shots of our cars, looking forward to the upcoming dvd...

Craig did quite well in the drags too, 7.8 or 7.9 was his best time.

Also have to mention our hardworking young members for their help and teamwork in putting the display and our tent together!

Cheers,
Bud

Thank you guys for a great day. We were like cows in the paddock but came home with good results. Thank you especially for the help we got from our associate members ( TROY & NATHAN ) and other people that came along with us. We had a great club display ( once again ) thanks to our supercheap marque.

Thank you everyone

Cheers

BIG JOHN

PS Caint wait for the Magazine and the DVD

it was an enjoyable day even though there was a smaller turnout than expected, due to this the judging classes were combined & we ended up having John & Marty going head to head for the category win, the judge was going back & forth between both for some time. i don't know what swung the decision in Johns favour, maybe the toss of a coin, well done to both for their ORSM effort in preperation.
Kev (EVILEF) had his car gleaming & picked up the win for best EA-EL against some good competition, i think this class had the most entrants on the day, an ORSM effort for his first show with the club.
i came away with the best modern small ford award.

for anyone wondering about the green ute on the end, that belongs to Pete (Dute on the forums) who bunked with us for the day, a nice looking car & a good guy.
the ute is for sale

Well done guys, wish I could have come. I think my last show for a while will be the KRC. Hopefully after that I will be searching for something new.

Well done guys- the cars all looked super clean!!! good to see you had a great day despite being put around the back- pity the tow cars and drag cars werent moved a bit and you could have gone on the bitumin. Was a dissapointing turnout for the day (yeah i know we cant talk) all up and i hope that this doesnt discourgaed Performance ford from running a similar event next year.

yeah, you don't have to have a mega show car to join us, just enough pride to keep your car in good condition. many members cars are daily drivers & it does take some effort to keep them looking so good but it's worth it.

Thanks Ron. We really enjoyed your company on Saturday and appreciated the videoing - not my forte! One of the cars sponsors (V8 Superloans) would love to see the video and we've told them we'll see what we can do!

Fleur and Rebecca (these are Allan Moffat's Carrerra Cup girls who V8 Superloans also sponsor) looked good in the photos that Bud took and they have been viewed by the company this morning.

Glad you guys did really well - seems weird being on the other side of the event but I did polish the car!

Cheers

Well done for the wins guys. ORSM effort in preparation of the cars.
Well done bud for taking care of the niceties. You would have liked that.
Well done Craig with the run. Whats the 7.8 measure up to comparing to the quarter?
Nice of you to polish up the car Gaela.

Car over the 1/4 mile would have run about 12.0 something (Craig will correct me if 'm wrong here! - he's not home yet). It is super fast and we are over the moon with it. Craig did a fantastic job of steering my baby (ain't love grand!!!: ) and we are looking forward to next weekends Test N Tune at Heathcote and the AFF Drag Nationals! Need an official 1/4 mile time! Pretty exciting when you consider it is a manual with just pump gears!

Cheers
