Shannons insurance has approached us to host the very first All Ford Day for the mid north coast. At the moment it will be happening some time next year, and it will be held at Mid Coast Ford in Taree. To get this all started on the right foot we will be electing a committee for the All Ford Day on the 27th of June 2009 at Curlys Cafe at 1:00 PM (across the road from timbertown, Wauchope). (it was previously advertised for the 20th of June in your newsletters) If you want to have a spot on the committee, you can turn up on the day or give me a ring. This will be a first for the coast, and there will be alot of planning involved, it is a huge opportunity to have a large part of organizing a large event for the mid north coast. Eddie from Shannons will be present on the day, and he will be taking a spot on the committee, and as he told members on our last run to Old Bar, they have quite a bit of money to throw in, so this can be a huge event with "full backing" from Shannons insurance. Eddie form Shannons wants this to be the same as the Peter Warren All Ford Day.

After the committee meeting last Saturday, we have decided not to form a seperate committee, but the current committee that is running the club will be now incorporating the All Ford Day into their schedule. Eddie Ryan from Shannons may have to be inducted into the clubs committee for the planning of the All Ford Day only, more will be announced on this latter on. At the moment we have set the date at SEPTEMBER 25th and 26th 2010. We will be asking all members during the next 12 months for help in various areas in getting this event off the ground, as we plan this to be a big weekend with cars being invited from QLD to VIC to attend. The 18th will be the big day, we will be holding stalls and entertainment along with the car show, trophies and giveaways on the day. After the show we will be organizing entertainment and dinner at a venue yet to be announced for all entrys. And the 19th we will be organizing a short morning cruise and lunch (destinations unknown yet) and then that will conclude the weekend.

In conjunction with Shannons Insurance and Andrew Miedecke Ford, The Mid North Coast Ford Owners Club will organize and host an All Ford Day for the mid north coast. THE DATE HAS NOW BEEN SET, November 14th 2010 is now the day this event will happen. Thanks to Andrew Miedecke, he has agreed on November 14th to remove vehicles from his lot so we can get the 100 + vehicles that we expect to turn up on the day. Julie Ireland is working on the flyer, and once that is done, we will be starting to hand out the invitations. We will be inviting GT and Ford Clubs all the way from QLD to VIC to attend, we will be doing our best to get some of the V8 Falcon race cars there, and will be trying to get some trade stalls, and activities for the whole family. Shannons now WILL NOT BE ABLE to bring the Super Rig on the day, but I am sure Rob Power will organize some giveaways on the day (no pressure Rob). Andrew Miedecke will have his spare parts section open, and there will be Ford merchandise up for sale, and there will be some great Falcon parts specials to be snapped up also. There will be more activities added to this list during the next month or two as we get more involved with planning and some more sponsors that will hopefully jump on board. We will be organizing activities for the family also, so everybody can enjoy the day.

The Mid North Coast Ford Owners Club proudly announces that it will be hosting the All Ford Day in sunny Port Macquarie at Andrew Miedecke Ford on November 14th 2010. The event is proudly sponsored by Shannon's Insurance and Gulf Western Oil. There will be several activities for the family and kids, there will be also food and drink, categories for all age groups of Fords (including hot rods). We are doing our best to have several Ford V8 race cars there and we are in the process to maybe have the George Miedecke LubriMaxx V8 ute there. Cars can enter the premises from 7.00AM and presentations will be at 2.00PM SHARP. Entry fee is $15 per vehicle which is payable at the gate. Andrew Miedecke Ford is located at 100 Hastings River Drive Port Macquarie. Andrew will have open his merchandise and spare parts store for bargain parts and reduced priced merchandise for all attending. For all those that need accommodation the Best Western Hotel which is almost located across the road from Andrew Miedecke Ford, has offered accommodation at corporate rates for those who mention that they are there for the All Ford Day !! The phone number for the Best Western is 02 6583 5333 and the website is http://macquariebarracks.bestwestern.com.au/ . We hope this will be the biggest display of Fords on the Mid North Cost, and we hope to make it a regular event in Port Macquarie. UPDATE****** Andrew Miedecke will be bringing his XW GT, his Targa V8 Capri, and the brand new supercharged GT !!!!!!!!! There will be jumping a castle and face painting for the kids. 25 Trophies up for grabs. Various stalls also on the day. And we are trying now to lock in GRID GIRLS for the day. The Miedecke Lubrimaxx V8 ute will not be there unfortunatly.
In reply to the phone calls that i have been receiving, All vehicles will be parked on concrete in the dealership. Cars can enter the dealership from 7:00 AM. Entry fee is $15. Best place for accomodation is the Best Western right across the road from the dealership (02 6583 5333), mention that you are there for the all ford day, and they will give you corperate rates.
