Sorry, I didn't phrase my question properly. What I meant to ask was what the actual peak impeller speed was for the AU XR6 VCT (with the 195rwkrw dyno sheet) posted above.

i.e. What size pulleys on the crank and blower head unit?

hell i got 125rwkw out of my EA with a cat back exhaust and thermo conversion.. 127 with extractors and exhaust seems fairly modest to me...

i'm not even going to comment on the RX3... everything that needs to be said has been said.... these are still a good kit.. bolt on... and away you go with a significant increase in power.... for those who want more power.. go do it another way... those who want a quick streeter... and easy installation... this is ideal...

Mmm, considering I have the tuner, injectors, pod, it should cost a little under $4000.
I dont see that as being such a bad price, especially with 200kw under foot.

I have F6 items I bought from Intune motorsport off Ebay for $110 for the set delivered. They are 2000 km old.
I pulled 121.1 with 2.5 inch press bent and ticky intake, with 180 000 on the clock.

you can get the flash tuner and custom tune for ~$900 give or take these days. Or actually buy the unit yourself for around $500.

I got....

Haven’t sorted the price yet but can look into it if you keep on my back lol.

Can you wait till mid Jan?
To be fair that was a couple of weeks ago. Looks like a few have been on his back LOL.

BTW there may be further options over & above what you see in the picture, eg:

Quote:
There are enclosed pods too, SIMOTA do them, its one option
And when I asked about my usual hobby-horse, a 2-bar MAP sensor, he said:

Quote:
We supplied a BA turbo 2 bar to go onto car at time of tune, the tuner went about his business and determined that you didn’t need to change it at all, this is same advice the chiptorque and electronic automotive gave me. How that works I do not know but the customer who has it on his car said it is completely faultless, he stated that the whole tune from top to bottom is perfect and that his auto shifts the best it ever has

Do you wanna see Stav's dyno graph of 125 RWKW with exhaust extractors dev 4 cam and a tune

Or how about Jonbays DEV3HL with 120 rwkw.

I also bet you weren't running 15.1 second quarters like Stav was with his genuine 125 rwkw.

Mate you can get a dyno to show you whatever you like. Doesn't mean you've really got it. If you want i'll show you my dyno graph saying i've got 148.5 rwkw, with just an intake, exhaust and tune.
That was the whole point about the dyno being dodgy.

True. My car has been on 2 different dynos with the same mods and ran 175rwhp and 155rwhp. And you also have to allow for manufacturing tolerances, some cars will be better than others. Autospeed had a freak EF which ran about 140RWKW with intake & exhaust mods and showed no improvement with a Dev3 cam. However 127rwkw doesn't sound unrealistic bearing in mind it is a VCT engine with exhaust mods.

But the fact remains that the car shows a 55% increase in power ATW on the same dyno. Using my I6 rule of thumb of $100 per 1% increase in RWKW, it looks like good value to me. YMMV.

i was there and watched Stav and Jonbays car pull similar numbers to that on the same day and dyno that my car pulled 117 at the time and stiddy pulled 136.

yes dyno's can say whatever they want, but seeing all four cars on the same day/dyno i think thats a fair comparison?

I know aye, lol

I just want SOMETHING! My last engine mods seem like ages ago, i have gotten so deperate for any type of mods that i have bought LED Parker lights and a chrome handbrake button, lmao.

I really wanna get my exhaust fixed tho, rear muffler sits far too low (at least 8cm below anything else) and i figure i may aswell get an upgrade while its there, then why not add on a couple other things.. I dunno, im very impulsive. When i get it done, i'll prolly end up buying the shop i get it done at or sumn

if you're that impulsive, come to the city with me on friday night and buy me drinks all night that'll take care of all your money quicksmart.

personally, i'd just save for the s/charger, any engine mods between now and then would be well over priced for the power gains. fix up your exhaust, or do stereo or something. instead of spending money getting the rest of the kit on my car, im trying to find something else to spend it on cause my car may be written off and i dont wanna buy a kit for it then have it written off a month later lol

Bloody oath, i remember one time at Castle Hill Tav (well... i dont 'remember' it as such, but my ATM transaction history shows it..)

I met these 2 guys from the same part of New Zealand as a mate of mine and i'm like MAD LETS HAVE SHOTS. I spent $420, lol.. Pretty proud tho, they gave up before i did Chartreusse, GET IT INTA YA

Memories.. Back when the tav was actually half decent on a Thursday night, i had a 9am uni class too.. threw up on the bus to the city, at uni, in a 7-11 type thing and on the bus home.. NOW THATS DEDICATION

You know what, i think im going to take ur advice, i'll just get the exhaust fixed and save the other money for the supercharger.

Hopefully i will hear good reports about it between now and then

Worth a look, especially the thread titled "Raptor V ownership in the longer term".
