Done a search but couldn't find what I want.
If the factory torque reduction settings are taken out of a ba turbo for example, does that mean it will make more power? Or is it just for gear changes?

Also, my box is rated to 450rwkw. Would it be wise/foolish to take out the reductions running just over 300 odd rwkw? Or will i likely destroy the box? Its a 4 speed auto.

The torque reductions will not help any trans if big power is used, most torque reductions work off an AD count torque release-per-1000rpm and is only really effective in low power cars at low rpm.
after about 3000 rpm there are little if any torque tags applying in most ecu's, they come into play again towards rpm limit, and/if/or of clutch is sidestepped in a manual. Good luck with the box, hope the gods are on your side.

I've a tune on my flash box with zero reductions, and another with 50% reduction after 3500rpm. The latter feels faster but could be an illusion.
